What You Should Know Before Exchanging Currency

The buying and selling exchange rates are different. If you sell foreign currency and exchange it for Hungarian forints, the buying rate applies. If you purchase foreign currency with Hungarian forints, the selling rate applies.

Exchange rates may change in response to financial market movements, so it is always worth checking the current rate before exchanging a larger amount.

For larger currency exchanges, you may request a custom exchange rate. Simply provide the amount and currencies you would like to exchange, and our team will get back to you with the available options.

If you need a larger amount or a less commonly available currency, we recommend placing a pre-order in advance. This helps reduce the chance that the required amount or denominations are unavailable at the branch when you visit.
